Dean Alan Levin, age 48, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on July 28, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Levin. He was preceded in death by a loving mother-in-law, Jackie Rogers. Dean is also survived by his mother, Linda Levin Silverberg of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, Father-in-law, Eurshel Rogers of Chatsworth, GA, sisters-in-law, Kathy Kay of Chatsworth, GA, Vickie and husband, Richard Manning of Rocky Face, GA, Amy Rogers of Chatsworth, niece and fiancé - Jennifer Fletcher and Jason Fisher of Deltona, FL. He is also survived by other nieces nephews, and many special friends - including Rob and Charlene Hammill, Pete and Bonnie Messina, Gilbert Isaac, Ginny Cagel, Blake, Jim and Mary Ann Bishop, Albert Pope and all his friends in Destin, Florida.
Dean Levin was full of life and laughter. He made people laugh and smile everywhere he went. His hobby was trains and he especially loved his “San Marino” private rail car, which was featured in the Smithsonian Magazine with Dean. He was very proud to be the last private rail car owner.
Dean and his wife, Lisa, had a special love. They were soul mates and will meet again of the other side. Rosco, the bull dog was Dean’s boy and he completed this loving family.
Dean studied God’s Word with friends and found his salvation through Jesus Christ. He was recently baptized and is now with Jesus until he and Lisa meet again.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31st from 5:00 to 9:00pm at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home in Chatsworth, Georgia (2362 US-76, Chatsworth, GA 30705). The memorial service will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, August 1st at Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.
