Curtis Lee Townsend, Jr.

 Mr. Curtis Lee Townsend Jr. 69 of Dalton went home to be with the Lord on November 29,2016.
He was Preceded in death by His grandson Christopher Dylan Williams, his father Curtis Townsend Sr. four brothers Bob, Troy, Steve and Charles Townsend.

He is survived by His wife of 41 years Janie Townsend, his mother Edna Townsend, daughters and son-in-laws Crystal and Kevin Johnson of Tunnell Hill, Rebecca and Kenny Floyd of Flovilla, GA, son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Carolyn Pierce of Chatsworth. Grandson's Austin Townsend, Luke Johnson both of Tunnel Hill, Granddaughter's Erica Endinger of Dalton, Harley Floyd of Flovilla, GA, Felicia Hall of Adairsville, and Brittany Pierce of Chatsworth and Lauren Johnson of Tunnell Hill. Great grandson and special baby boy, Zander Endinger. Brothers Randy and Melvin Townsend of Dalton, Sister and brother in law, Selena and Danny Sosbee of Resaca. Several Nieces and nephews also survive.Pallbearer's  will be Austin Townsend, Rodney Smith, Brad Townsend, Jason Townsend, Eric Gravitt and Eddie Burnette Jr. 

Funeral Services will be Friday 2 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Strickland officiating.  Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday 5 till 9 pm.
