Clara Bell (Crowder) Darnell

Mrs. Clara Bell "Crowder" Darnell, 80, of Dalton passed away Wednesday August 2, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Edith Crowder. Siblings, Gilbert Crowder, Lorrene Sledge, Evelina Dockery, Wade Crowder, Dorothy Dockery and Harold Crowder.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Cecil Darnell, children, David Bledsoe and Diane Bledsoe of Chatsworth, grandchildren Rachel Bowling and Dava Goodson, six great grandchildren, brothers, Dan Crowder and Leon Crowder, sisters, Evelyn Dockery and Jean Swindell, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Arthur Corbin officiating. Interment will follow at Varnell Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, 4-8 pm.
