Caryl F. Nix

Ms. Caryl F. Nix, age 77 of Dalton passed away April 21, 2017 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her father, Holly Chadwick, son Dennie Lowe, grandson Christopher Cox, granddaughter, Allison Mullins, and a brother, Ronnie Chadwick.

Survivors include her mother, Nannie Mae Chadwick of Chatsworth. Daughters and sons in law, Jean and Kenneth Cox of Dalton, Joan and Eddie McDonald of Kalispell, MT. Grandchildren, Jeremy and Amanda Cox of Dalton, Kelly Cox of Dalton, Holly Johnson of Chattanooga, Alisa and Zach Parker of Dalton, Ben and Mary McDonald of Gainsville, GA and Cody Lowe of Dalton. Great grandchildren, Jordon, Sydney, Rylee, Ashton, Zoe, London, and Jameson. Brother and sister in law, Clifford and Gail Chadwick of Shady Dale, GA, Sisters and brothers in law, Meryl and John Mullinax of Rock Springs, Linda and Donnie Herron of Chatsworth. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be Thursday 3 pm at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Bret Yaeger officiating.  Internment will follow in the Holly Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday 6 till 9 pm.
