Bryan Sharpe

Mr Bryan Sharpe, age 81 of Dalton, traveled home to be with the lord Monday August 7, 2017, at his residence surrounded by family.

Mr. Sharpe was born in Clarksville, TN. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sharpe and mother Besse Hemphill.

Bryan worked in the tufted textile industry for 30 years and retired from the log home construction business. He was a Graduate of the University of Tennessee, past member of Sumach Lodge #55, Served in the United States Army (1955) and a past member of Dalton Golf and Country Club.

He is survived by his wife Helen (Wheat) Sharpe, Children: Joe & Leigh Sharpe of Lexington, KY., Allison & Peter Villarreal of Huntsville, AL. Grandsons: Cody and  Jake Villarreal of Hunstville, AL., and step daughter : Melinda & Marshall Jones.

Visitation will be Wednesday 12 noon till 3 pm.  Private Funeral Service will be at 3 pm in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Dudley from Christ Church Presbyterian Church officiating.

The family asks that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN. 38105.
