Annie Ruth Payne

Ms. Annie Ruth Causby Payne, age 90 of Dalton, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016  in Hamilton Medical Center.

Ms. Payne was a lifelong member of Five Springs United Methodist Church, sang in the choir, served as the church treasurer and treasurer of the United Methodist Womens group, volunteered at Hamilton Medical Center several years, and sang with Sounds of Joy at First Methodist Church of Dalton.

She is preceded in death by one daughter: Patty Cunningham, parents: L.M. and Ollie Causby, and one brother Clayton Causby.

She is survived by one son: Mike Payne of Dalton, grandchildren: Kari Cunningham of Douglasville, GA. and Kelli Cunningham of Crestview , FL., brother and sister in law: Dillon and Ilien Causby of Hixon, TN and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday January 30, 2016 at 4 PM in the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Minister Sandra Smith Franklin and Minister Ann Fleming officiating. Interment will be in Whitfield Memorial Garden.  The family will receive friends beginning at 2 PM on Saturday until the funeral hour.
